Welcome to Aerial Athlete Base: A structured 12 month cross-training system for aerialists who want to get stronger off-apparatus, focusing on strength, mobility, stability and control.
You understand you need to strength train, and you know you need to be doing things outside the studio, but it can feel incredibly overwhelming to even know where to start. There is SO much information online. So I’m here to take the guess work away.
I wanted to build something that blends strength training, mobility training, prehab, stability work and motor control training into a program that is designed to support aerialists long term, and create an unshakeable physical foundation.
Because this work and building a strong base takes time.

I’ve been coaching since August 2011, and my goal to help as many people as possible move well and feel good in their bodies hasn’t changed.
My focus now is supporting aerialists, bringing my expertise in program design and strength and conditioning into everything I create. I want aerialists to understand they can train this amazing sport for life, with the right physical training tools to support their aerial practice.
I take away the stress of having to figure it all out yourself, and create programming that actually feels good and supports real humans. I’ll be with you every step of the way, and can’t wait to meet you!

Because this is cross training and it starts off with foundational work, this program is suitable for all levels of aerialist! Whether you’re relatively new to aerial or you’ve been training for a while but haven’t tried cross training before, this is the perfect place to start.

You can follow the program at the gym or at home. But you will need access to some equipment at home since this is not an equipment-free program.

A small amount of space to train in
A pull up bar or something to hang from
Gymnastics rings (If you’re training at home and don’t have a way to adjust height)
Yoga blocks
A lightweight looped resistance band
Weights e.g. kettlebells or dumbells
A timer

Absolutely. This is supplemental training and assumes you’re already doing aerial. If you need help with the best way to combine this with what you’re already doing just drop me an email and I’ll help you out.

Currently this program is inside of my online course platform, so you’ll access it through a web browser. But the program is super easy to access and use from your mobile phone.

Yes! While this isn’t 1:1 coaching, you can reach out for coaching support and ask questions via email.
Please note, there is no video feedback or form checking within this program.

This is a subscription based program with coaching support. So you have access for as long as you choose to stay in the program.

No, please don’t sign up if you’re currently injured. This program is perfect to start after completing rehab under the care of your medical professional. But if you are dealing with an injury, that needs to be focused on first.

Yes, the training should be fine as long as you’re moving through ranges of motion you can control. If you need help or advice with modifications you can simply reach out via email.
