Welcome to The Back Flag Blueprint: A self paced program going into the details of the back flag. We’ll be learning how to assess ourselves for this skill, and how to build the strength and mobility to safely achieve it.
The back flag is a skill that looks super cool, but it’s also challenging. And it’s especially important to train for it in a way that is safe and progressive. I’ve taken my favourite drills and progressions and packaged them into a program that will give you clear steps for how to get from where you are now, to your back flag. You’ll also learn how to assess yourself for this skill, and enjoy creative ways of developing your mobility.
This is designed for aerialists who want to either start working towards or improve their back flag, as well as aerial coaches who might be looking for more drills to add to their repertoire. 💖

Here’s what the program includes:
Back Flag Workshop
This is a 30 minute workshop designed to help you assess your current physical capabilities as they relate to the back flag. The workshop will help you identify whether you need to improve strength or mobility or both. From there you’ll be able to see which level of workout to go for.
The workshop is follow along, and is practical, so you’ll ideally need access to equipment as you go through it.
Back Flag Workouts
There are 3 different workouts for training the back flag, 1 being the easiest and most accessible. This is so that you’ll have training options to suit your level and allow you to progress.
Each workout includes clear programming and video tutorials for every exercise, so you’re not left guessing.
Bonus Mobility Session
Mobility plays such a huge role in this skill, and so I wanted to a full body mobility session geared towards it
It includes active flexibility drills and locomotion so that you can build strength in your end ranges of motion, and feel more confident with your back flag training!
Lifetime Access
You can access the program anytime, and will have lifetime access. This means you can work through it at a pace that suits you and also in a way that gives you space to progress.
You can revisit the programming over and over again in the future, and keep coming back to it for as long as you need!

This program takes you from the very basics all the way to the back flag, so you do not need prior experience with this skill.

I don’t recommend this program for beginners. The back flag is an advanced skill, so this program is designed for intermediate - advanced level aerialists.

Absolutely. The workouts are designed to be done 1-2 times per week because you don’t need to overwork a skill. The assumption is that if you’re training aerial you’re doing other classes and sessions alongside this program.
